Purpose of the Qualification

The sector has identified the Buyer/Planner role as a national scarce skill, highlighting its importance in supporting business growth and operational efficiency. Buyers significantly influence an organisation’s ability to manage cash flow, optimise stock levels, and drive profitability through informed purchasing decisions.

A qualified learner will be able to:
